A boat was docked in a tiny Mexican fishing village.

A tourist complimented the fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them. 'Not very long,' answered the Fisherman.

'But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?' asked the tourist. The fisherman explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family.

The tourist asked, 'But what do you do with the rest of your time?'

'I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, and take an afternoon nap with my wife. In the evenings, I go into the village to see my friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs... I have a full life.'

The tourist interrupted, 'I have an MBA and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat.'

'And after that?' asked the Fisherman. 'With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to a BIG city! From there you can direct your huge new enterprise.'

'How long would that take?' asked the fisherman.

'Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years,' replied the tourist.

'And after that?'

'Afterwards? Well my Friend, That's when it gets really interesting,' answered the tourist, laughing.. 'When your business gets really big, you can start selling stocks and make millions!'

'Millions? Really? And after that?' said the fisherman.

'After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take an afternoon nap with your wife and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends.'

And the moral is: Know where you're going in life....... you may already be there!

I love this story - its an old one that has done its rounds via email but it's so pertinent esp in today's day & age. Why do we make things complicated when end of the day - we just want to be happy?

I come across some wonderful things during my travels on the internet - so much out there that is so uplifting, empowering, full of knowledge, love & happiness its AMAZING !! So much sharing going on....

The other day I think I may have clicked on someone's link on their 'tweet' about the Spiritual Cinema Circle and came across a brilliant short movie - watched it - thought to myself WOW now that was powerful and said ooooooohhhhhh I gotta share this with my group!

Of course ummm I forgot but then the wonderful way the Universe works - just yesterday this wonderful friend of mine Russel decided to share it with his friends and I was like whooooooooooaa what a coinky dink but not really because - nothing is a coincidence! *giggle* So it came back to me because it just HAD to be shared....

I just want you to watch it - take the 16mins or so because it is soooo worth your time and then I would love it if we could discuss it too - I always copy my notes I send to you as posts in the group so that anyone can share their comments, feelings, reactions after the post to share....

Are you taking ACTION folks?

ANY action.

Or are you sitting in bed, wearing your pj's and visualizing yourself in your dream car, dream house, the million bucks falling from the sky, really feeling it, seeing it and saying thanks for it.....

Ummmmm all well and good but do remember you HAVE TO TAKE ACTION that gels with what it is you want - whether it is listening to the lil voice thats telling you to send that letter or the subtle hint you have to speak to the person next to you, taking the class you've been meaning to take - whatever that action IS - you need to do SOMETHING in order to get what you want (along with the visualization, being in the moment & gratitude)

Now obviously you will attract several things to you - not all of them will be exactly what you want but as you get IDEAS/THOUGHTS/INSIGHTS to what FEEEEEEEEEEEEELS like a good thing to do - DO IT.

And the quicker you take action - the better it is for you - the Universe likes speed! So don't put off things til tomorrow - am SURE that we have all known people who didn't get their tomorrow's....

It's because of the collective action of people in the US - you have a new President...

It's because of collective action of people all over that there is a SURGE in the vibration of abundance and love going around...

It's because of collective action of people like YOU guys that are part of groups like these - that the world becomes a better place....

SO GO OUT AND DO!!

DO SOMETHING.

DO ANYTHING!

DO WHAT FEELS GOOD AND WHAT TAKES YOU CLOSER TO WHAT IT IS YOU DESIRE !!

It's funny how we store away the best linen, the fine chine, the 'good' silverware for that 'special occasion' or the guests because why 'waste' them for 'everyday use' right?

Or that 'special lingerie' for 'special night's......

We go out and buy the 'discounted products' for ourselves but when guests come over we get the 'branded' stuff because they are more worthy that us right????

What are you waiting for and what signals are you sending out to the Universe? Ever thought about that?

You are basically saying you are not worthy of HAVING the BEST life has to offer but someone else who actually may or may not make a difference to your lives does???

How to make money? Hmmm...

Well now that's a question & one that is on the forefront of my mind since I left the corporate world to be an 'entrepreneur' - its a nice life, swimming in the afternoon, staying up til late, chilling out online but *ahem* someone gotta pay the bills!!! :)

Soooooooooooooo of course there is the global e-commerce project I am a part of as an independent business owner & that will lay the pipeline for my wealth creation (wanna know more - just ask me!) and at the same time there shouldn't only be one source of income to rely on right? So since I spend so much time online anyways - why not learn to harness the power of the World Wide Web for wealth creation too? I mean so many people have done it and are still doing it and some very, very successfully! So why not me?

I started learning more about social networking and am a avid Facebooker with 2 groups - DivineDee - Give Love, Get Love, Share Love & The Happiness Club UAE, am on Twitter with people following me and now have my own blog on a free site which I need to somehow transfer on my own url which I do already own (gotta make use of it!) and now I am connected with amazing souls on all their own journeys helping me learn as I go along.

Beauty of the world today is that if you embrace the law of Abundance & sharing & FIRST adding value to people's lives - you are bound by the law of reciprocity to get back. What goes around comes around..... If you BELIEVE the world is big enough for us all to co-exist harmoniously, peacefully & abundantly - so shall it be. Truth is it IS. Unfortunately, its funny how there has been an imbalance that with the global financial changes is finally evening itself out slowly but surely. This will let the true cream rise to the top and give back the power held by a small % of the world's population back in the hands of many....

Birth of the social entrepreneur emerges once again ! TA DA !!! *giggle* So my point? My point is that if you follow your passion, do something you love, add value to people's lives with your own talents & just know that you are truly blessed - you can live a life of abundance & prosperity. The internet is a great vehicle to do exactly that & so I am learning and as I am learning I will share cuz we all know - sharing is caring ;)

What a beautiful day!

I finally went for a swim today after forever !!! There is a pool in my bldg and I've never used it - today was the day !! I can't tell you how amazing it feels to just get out, be in the sun (though I went after 4pm) and swim! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the water and it makes me feel so happy.

Just imagine floating on your back, eyes closes, totally relaxed with the sun shining on your face *sigh* pure bliss....

FYI - I've lived in this building for 2 years now!!! What took me so long?!?! Yeesh!

What have you been putting off lately eh? Go on - go do something that you've been meaning to do....tomorrow. Has your tomorrow ever come?

I'll tell you one thing - LIFE IS TRULY BEAUTIFUL but do you have a guarantee as to how long you are going to live?

Think about it.

We do not know when we will take our last breath yet we keep putting off things til tomorrow knowing full well - tomorrow may never come. So do something TODAY that you've been meaning to do and see how good it makes you feel !

I am still smiling cheek to cheek from my swim earlier! Ah the life of a entrepreneur - now I just gotta get around to *ahem* figuring out the 'earning money' bit of it! DOH!!! *giggle*

I've been meaning to get to creating my blog and actually have a couple of times but then *ahem* 'life happens' but I figured since I was writing for my FaceBook group - DivineDee - Give Love, Get Love, Share Love - I may as well create a blog as well and then I can ramble on about other stuff as well that interests me apart from Getting Love, Giving Love & Sharing Love *sweet smile*

So what does interest me and may interest you?

Life.
Love.
Relationships.
Spirituality.
Feel Good Stuff

And oh - how to make money online is a definite new interest and I want to share with you my tips as I learn them and comment on what works and doesn't work! There is a lot of passive AND active income to be earned online so why not make it? *giggle* It's an ABUNDANT Universe - money is everywhere for everyone - we just need to accept it sooooooooooooo.....lets take the lil actions we need to take to do so right? RIGHT!

Basically, I am a 'happy chick' & enjoy life & living. I currently live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which is in the Middle East but I grew up in Hong Kong, studied in California and worked in New York before landing in the desert about 3 years ago ! Don't ask – I don't have a clear idea why I am here but am not complaining :)

Oh and I am the founder of the Happiness Club Dubai so once a month I host a get-together for the general public in the aims for everyone to learn about Happiness and how its a CHOICE we need to make at every given moment in our lives.
